Face Yoga Over 40
Your 40s are when the first fine lines usually show — around the eyes and across the forehead. This four-week plan starts there: gentle, prevention-first training plus massage, about nine minutes a day, all in one printable PDF.

What’s inside
A prevention-first program for your 40s
28 days, 57 exercises, and a running order that puts the eye and brow area first — the places lines tend to appear earliest — before working down through the cheeks, jaw, and neck.

Why an Over 40 edition?
- The sequence leads with the eye area and forehead — the zones most people in their 40s notice first — instead of saving them for last.
- It stays prevention-minded: consistent, moderate work you can sustain, not a short high-intensity push.
- Advanced eye exercises are held back until week four, so you build up gently before the deeper moves.
The plan
Four weeks, starting where lines show first
Week 1
Fresh Eyes & Smooth Brow
Prevention-first work for the eye area and forehead — gentle activation and massage to ease the expression lines that usually appear first.
Week 2
Cheeks & Smile
Wake up the mid-face with exercises for fuller-looking cheeks and a lifted smile, before any volume loss sets in.
Week 3
Jawline & Chin
Keep the lower face defined with resistance work for the jaw, chin, and tongue.
Week 4
Neck, Nose & Deep Work
Bring in the neck and nose, plus the more advanced eye work — everything trained together as a routine you can keep.
Face yoga in your 40s is about maintenance, not miracles. The one study we lean on — a small 2018 JAMA Dermatology trial — found modestly fuller cheeks and a rating about three years younger after 20 weeks of daily exercise. It’s early evidence, not a promise: expect subtle, gradual changes. Read the science
Questions, answered
- Is the Over 40 challenge really free?
- Yes. You get the full 28-day plan and all 57 illustrated exercises as a printable PDF, free. We ask for your email so we can send you the download and occasional face yoga tips — you can unsubscribe with one click, anytime.
- Can face yoga prevent wrinkles in my 40s?
- It can’t stop skin from ageing — that’s driven by genetics, sun, and time. What facial exercise may do is tone the muscles underneath and ease some expression-related tension, which is why this edition leads with the eye and brow area. Think gradual support and better habits, not wrinkle removal.
- I already have fine lines around my eyes — is it too late?
- Not at all. This plan is designed for exactly that starting point: it opens with gentle eye-area training and massage in week one, then adds the more advanced eye work in week four. Expect subtle softening over weeks of consistency, not an overnight change.
- Do I need any equipment or experience?
- No. You need a mirror, clean hands, and optionally a drop of facial oil for the massage moves. Every exercise has step-by-step instructions, a photo, and a form tip. This isn’t medical advice — if you have a skin condition or recent facial procedure, check with your doctor first.
